Snow Flies…Rooting on Spring

Wait I'm doing it wrong. No surf fishing in the PA mountains!

Dear fellow surf anglers, Delawarean friends and cohorts…This is Admin 1. Many of you do not know me, and that’s OK as I work mostly behind the scenes. Rich and I have been working diligently since the launch of Delaware-surf-fishing.com back in July of 2011. Our mission; to bring you the most up-to-date fishing reports, Delaware environmental news, and introducing you to all the great folks and clubs that make up the surf fishing community in Delaware.

Shortly before Christmas, I headed back to the mountains of PA to spend the winter. And what does this have to do with Delaware-surf-fishing.com you may ask? EVERYTHING! Through the off-season Rich and I are continuing our work. Rich with interviews, updated info, and keeping his ear to ground for all the newsworthy stories he can grab. I’m working on a complete re-design of delaware-surf-fishing.com. Recoding, re-designing, and making the site more efficient. We also worked on a new logo over the holidays.

Rich and I launched the site as a fun project to keep our friends informed. It wasn’t initially thought of as a “monster site to draw thousands of readers”. No. But as fate would have it, YOU ALL have made it the BIGGEST surf fishing site ever dedicated to Delaware. That’s right…YOU! And we deeply thank you. And to thank you, we continue to make improvements, cover more stories, and provide more information.

As I sit here in the mountains of Pennsylvania, I look out on a vast field of snow. That’s right, winter finally arrived in the Keystone State today, January 21, 2012. And as I spend my winter in the mountains I keep thinking of one thing; returning to my family’s Long Neck home and fishing on the sands of Delaware.

God bless and FISH ON!!
