Raffle for the Bays flyer
Welcome to the first Delaware Surf Fishing annual anniversary raffle for the Delaware Center for the Inland Bays. We wanted to do something special, for as many readers as possible for supporting DSF. We also wanted our sponsors to benefit from this event. We have combined all these factors, through donations from all sponsors, and DSF. We bought a lot of high end gear for prizes, and our sponsors filled in spaces with gear, and merchandise. We wanted to do something for the Delaware Center for the Inland Bays. What better way to raise money than a raffle. The center will receive a portion of the proceeds as a donation for the Oyster Restoration program. The sooner we start growing more oysters in our bays, the faster the water quality will improve. The prizes are listed below the raffle lasts until midnight July 31st. You can purchase raffle tickets … 1 for $5.00 or 3 for $10.00 … at the following locations …. Rattle & Reel in Long Neck DE … Rick’s Bait & Tackle Long neck, DE … Lewes Harbor Marina in Lewes, DE … Dew Me Beach apparel shop Izzy shopping center in Dewey Beach … DSF reps will be available at certain locations. We will announce the locations, and times in our reports. Sponsors, and immediate family members are not eligible to participate, sorry Mom. I want to apologize to any reader that can not get here to purchase a ticket. Legally we can not do this online, without a boat load of hassles. We decided to do this in July, since it is the busiest summer month. We can not mail tickets, nor can you purchase them through Paypal, that is the main reason we are not doing this online. I apologize for any inconvenience, come to Delaware and get your tickets.
Old Bay Steakhouse on Coastal Highway, will host a Happy Hour for the bays on August 9th and we will pick the winning tickets. proceeds from the happy Hour will go to the Delaware Center for the Inland Bays. The event starts at 4 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at which time we will “pull” tickets. We will also have a few things we are doing that night like 50/50′s and in house raffles.
